Paul Taylor Director of the Avon River Practice.

First and foremost, I believe that people can and should be able to perform at their best, and I can help you do that. Having studied Psychology as part of my career in Marketing, Human Resources(HR) and senior Management in Engineering, the NHS, Local and Central Government, I have always had a very keen interest in understanding what makes people “tick” and how to help people get the best out of themselves at work. The missing piece for me was how to help people get the best out of themselves in life, not just at work. The answer is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, so I took the decision to enrol on the UKs foremost Hypnotherapy training courses at The Clifton Practice, to achieve the Diploma in Hypnotherapy (DHP).

Having worked in management roles dealing face to face with people in the public and private sector for over 30 years I naturally enjoy talking to people about the person they want to be, and how that isn’t sometimes the person they are at the moment.

I’m a classic “northerner”, so consider my approach to be straightforward and practical as well as friendly, very positive and ensure hypnosis is really enjoyable.

My specialities

I specialise in stress,  anxiety and depression, including IBS, Migraines, and relaxation, as well as self-confidence, quit-smoking, fears & phobias and weight loss. But if you think you are dragging around some baggage that is affecting your life, the Avon River Practice can help.

When I am not working with patients, I play the Ukulele, take my wife Ballroom dancing, and am a fundraiser and ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Children’s Charity.
